I've been a little hypocritical it seems. I say that I want to be around people who have emotional depth, and who aren't always at just one level all the time. Then when I'm faced with big displays of emotional, I can't cope with it.
Maybe you're just like my wife when it comes to the ocean... she likes knowing it is there, but that doesn't mean she wants to see it all the time. Maybe you like knowing someone has emotional depth, but that doesn't mean you like emotional drama.

I think Joe's right, I mean, I don't really like seeing people emotional, but that doesn't mean I want to hang out with lichen...
